Securing Front Speakers

Recommended Posts

Just in the middle of upgrading my front speakers, have everything done except securing the speakers to the door. Orginally they were riveted in to the door, this were drilled out to remove the old ones. How do i secure the new ones in? Ive re-used the old plastic mount. Should i just rivet them in again, I have a rivet gun lying around work somewhere

i just had quite fat rivets so it was ok can't remember the size but they just went throught the holes

Ok trying to run the speaker cables through the door into the rubber loom between the car and door. cant seem to get it through is there any easier way to get the cables into the car?

lol that took me ages as well so in the end i cheated and used the standard wire thats already throught the door connected to either side.

But i tried a metal coat hanger. Try and push it through then sercurely tape the wire to it and pull it back through.
