Hi Guys

Has any one had a clucth put in recently in IS200?

Mine is a 99/T with 78K and in 3rd gear recently its slips ocasionally!

I rang Lexus Reading and he told me £550 all in and if they fly wheel is gone its an extra £400!

I was shocked £950 for a clutch! This aint a Porsche you get me!

What sort of price am i looking at for a decent price done privately!

Many thanks as the advice I get on here is always good from the lads!

Craig

Ok I did a search on fly wheels and the clutch does rub on them but Ive never heard of a flywheel waring out, I was used to 18 year old mitsubishi's that have done minimum of 80k and most had 150k on them

Clutch plate uses friction against the flywheel to engage.

On how much to replace a good independant will take a day, max, to do the job plus parts.
