Water Leek In My Boot

hi this is the first gs300 i have owned it is a mk1 1995,

2 things 1st is i have water leeking in to my boot from somewere, is this a common problem.

2nd my brakes make a lot of noise when cold?.

Probably the rubber seal.I had same problem earlier in year.

Id imagine the only place to get them from would be your local Lexus parts dept. I cant see any third party manufactures bothering with them.

some others have had a similar problem. look through the posts of today and you will find it, i think it was 'y2kanjar' has solved it, it was (in his case) the air vent behind the bumper its like a white box with a rubber seal to alow air flow one way.

had mine done at lexus coventry. will try to find bill out. ask your dealer to check.....cov didn't charge for checking where leak was.

by the seal you mean the big one that goes all the way round the boot , as im getting a nice puddle in my wheel "trough"

yes,the seal goes all way round the boot opening.You could try vaseline on the rubber to find leak but wasnt that expensive to have it replaced. Not found invoice yet.

Or the seal for the lights that are on the boot
