The mechanic where I got it done was able to source everything. He did have a small Hic-Up when he was sent the wrong timing belt. But he got another and all was good. I got a major service using genuine toyota parts including water pump, idler, all belts and fluids, it did however cost me €1200, €350 of which was labour. But if you know this lad it may work out cheaper

a €1200 service
I quote markrs200

do u know the price of the timing belt alone is 400 euro .cause u have to buy 2 idlers and a tentioner and thats not including fitting.Any one who brings a car from japan its the first thing that should be done is the timing belt and make sure ye get the belt ,the two idlers and the tentioner its pointless doin it otherwise

Go to a toyota dealer and get prices for genuine parts....... Then come back and see if you are still laughing.

Or alternatively go back to the Japanese used car place where you bought your car and watch him laugh. He's laughing because you believed him when he told you that your car was fully serviced and the milage was genuine.
