Extra Gauges In Mk1 Gs300/aristo

Has anyone fitted any additional gauges in their GS300/Aristo?

If so could you be so kind as to post some pictures up. I need some inspiration as to location, I'd rather keep it stealth and mount it up in the ashtray compartment, but would love to see what any of you others have gauge wise.

I've got mine in the MK2 on the driver side A pillar, not original at all though :o

I've ended up just making my own to replace the ashtray. It will fit two gauges, I've only stuck the one in for now but the hole is there for a second one when I get it.

It's not quite sitting right at the moment, but will be flush once I've wired the gauge up as it's not currently working.

Total cost about £2.50. Job done.

Good work looks nice - another one next to it will complitment it very nicely.

Yeah, probably going to stick an AFR next to it. Might change the leatherette as well from black to the same sort of gray as the suround as well.
