Central Locking Wont Work

Hello all,

A friend of mine has a 'V' plate IS200.

In the morning, when it is cold, his central locking wont work. His remote batteries are all in good order.

So he has to use the key to open the door, which sets off the alarm, etc etc.

He called Edinburgh Lexus, who he stated were extremely unhelpful and couldnt assist.

Does anyone have experience of this problem and a resolution?

dont know if this will help you

when my central locking wouldn't work it was the central locking ecu which is situated under the drivers seat.

it ended up about £500 to get it sorted.

but it wouldn't work at all not just when it was cold.

I;ve had this a couple of times lately, turned out to be the key Battery.
