A Lex can handle higher mileage so don't be put off if you see one with 100k but make sure the cam belt has been done as they need doing on 100k.

mine is on 126k and still going very well.

good luck, remember the Sport is an insurence group higher than the rest of the IS200's

from what i have seen french cars start to struggle after 60k...there built to a budget, but still good cheap first cars.

The cam belt needs to be done on 60k or 6 years not 100k or 10 years.

I know it says 100k in the book but it is 60 i promise :winky:

My first car (at 18) was a Renault 5 I had to get a bank loan for. Crashed it 2 months later.

Nothing worse that paying for a loan for 5 years for a car you wrote off before the first 6 months, didn't know too much about insurance at the time so didn't claim (as it was my fault)
