Protecting Cream Leather Interior

Hi Can anyone comment on the protective treatments available fpr car paintwork and interiors, my new SC is due on March 1st and has cream rutland leather interior, I seem to recall that you can have the leather treated a bit like scotch guard but I am worried it may change the shade. Any comments would be welcome.

Thanks

Michael :D

Don't believe the advertising, these treatments are only partially effective. A friend of mine has a BMW (sorry!) with cream leather treated seats (no he's not a hairdresser!) and his wife's red leather trousers have badly stained them (no she wasn't overexcited!!). My best advice would be to stick to boring old black if you are worried.

I'm hoping to be ordering an IS200 SE auto in Strathcaron Blue, with the Oakham interior from my local Lexus dealer this Friday (haggling permitting).

I've had two previous IS200's with the Exmoor (dark) interior and I am a little concerned about the cream Oakham interior and how well it holds up to dirt/marks.

I'm going to have the SuperGuard option and hope for the best! I suppose I could always have the car valeted once a year!
