Head Bolts

I'm searching for some ARP uprated head bolts for the 1G-FE engine. The stud / nut and bolt kind. I'm assuming they don't make a specific set for the IS 200..

So if somebody could help me find the size / thread etc needed then I can continue my hunt for the correct ones.

Some info:

1G-FE

The DOHC 1G-FE uses a narrow valve angle and other fuel economy optimizations. It was introduced in 1988. Output was 135 hp (101 kW) at 5600 rpm and 130 ft·lbf (176 Nm) at 4400 rpm. In 1998, VVT-i bumped output to 160 hp (119 kW) at 6200 rpm and 148 ft·lbf (200 Nm) at 4400 rpm for the Toyota Altezza/Lexus IS 200, Toyota Crown, Toyota Chaser, Toyota Mark II, and Toyota Cresta.

So if I can find the later cars it should be all good

But I have just no Answer from ARP.

They have send an XLS file to me for measuring the head...........sorry for my English

Head Studs and Main Studs are available from ARP.

You have PM

Put the original ones to any bolt-specialist and tell him:

"PLs reproduce those bolts, but made of extra quality steel" :winky:

A better or harder steel should be able to take the extra power.
