Traction Control + Parts

Recommended Posts

Hi I have a couple of question of my 60k service for an IS200 (51 reg)

1 When I press the Traction control button the light doesn't come on the dash as my previous car. What could be the proble? If its a simple fuse which I'm hoping it is where is the fuse located and where do I get one from.

2 Also the cambelt needs changing I need to buy the belt but whats the part number on the tensioner and idler? Do I have to change both the tensioner and idler?

3 Where's the cheapest place to buy an air,oil and pollen filter and should I go to Lexus for these or are OEM's OK?

Thanks

Sunil

Had my cambelt and tensioner changed recently but wasn't told about the idler.

Which bit is that and how important is it to replace it with the belt? Do I need to get it done ASAP?

OEM is Original Manufacturer!

To be honest any air and oil filter will do!

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacture

and any air and oil filter will not do.............

the OEM toyota Oil filters have included with there manufacture an anti drain mechanism and built in magnet , to atract particles....

which would you rather have, any old filter, or one built to the highest standerds, regards air filters, there not all made the same,
