I got mine off that famous auction site, I wanted them for everyday use so I didn't choose any backgrounds or unique fonts, however, they are show plates so I didn't have to provide my log book etc, a traffic cop I asked about them said i'd be very unlikely to get stopped as the font is the legal style, but the GB logo on the left on the blue background is technically illegal for road use, and i'd any cop pulling me for them would only do so out of boredom, the blue backing that has GB on fades down into white, and there is a Lexus logo below it, which is pretty cool I think :D

Hmm, not sure about the info you were given by the traffic cop. The GB logo is fully road legal and would not attract any attention from the Police - bored or otherwise.

For that specific plate, you're right. It's not a standard EU one and the Lexus sign isn't road legal either. A standard Euro flag with a GB underneath is fully road legal though. Although you'd have to meet one very VERY bored policeman to get pulled on that, and if they're that bored, I can finally leave my car in the car park unlocked because crime has obviously been oblitterated.

They're tougher on the font I'll admit, and rightly so. Logos however, they couldn't give a damn about most of the time. MOT might disagree though?
