Is200 Sport With Styling Kit

Can anybody help, The lexus UK web site details prices for IS200 Sport with Styling kit, I can't find any info on the site with regard to styling kit only seperate parts, does anybody know what the styling kit consists of. Full details would be great. Thanks

Having just bought one :D the kit consists of 5 spoke 18 inch alloys and tyres, unique front bumper assmbly and rear skirt. This is over and above the sport spec. The only thing you miss is the headlight washers.

It is only available in certain colours ( black, silver, blue and red ).

I think its the front bumper/grill assembly, rear skirt and 18" wheels and tyres. I remember seeing the price of the body bits as £650 in an accesories list at the dealers, don't know if that was fitted (Think it was VAT inc though). Wheels and tyres were extra, a lot extra. :o

For what it is worth I think the bumper/grill assy looks nice, but the standard bumper with a sports grill and front bumper skirt looks better. Just my opinion, though I don't want to start any trouble.

Were you given a choice of 18 inch alloys or does the styling kit only come with 6 spoke alloys 18 inch that are fitted to your car??

Risky - the styling kit come with the 18 inch alloys . No choice.

You could always order the sport then the seperate bits ..... etc. but you then may hit problems with insurance as the car has been modded since leaving the factory. I had problems with mine because the insurance companies don't recognise the "Lexus IS200 Sport with styling kit" as a model .... yet ... I am addressing this with Lexus ( but have sorted mine for now ).

Steve, Sorry I didn't explain myself very well, were given a choice of style of 18 inch alloy?? the reason for asking is that the Lexus web site is showing some new style 18 inch, ie The Chicane wheel.

No - no choice, but you could always try & negotiate .....
