Is Goes Into Lexus Tommorrow For Headlight Fixing

Recommended Posts

I posted on here a while ago about my Automatic Headlights on my IS were not auto-levelling as they should be and the warning light was came on on the dashboard. After a lot of discussions with the garage I bought the car from, they have agreed it goes into lexus to be fixed.

So after a month of waiting i should have the right headlight alignment by tommorrow night and stop blinding on-coming drivers....

I shall let you all know what the problem is just in case it happens to anyone else on here.

no they are washer jets for your headlights, the OP has the later LE model that came with hid's and auto level lights

..

I know at the front of the bumper .. two square thingys pop up and spray water on the headlights..

The problem the guys suffering is ...

auto leveling on his headlights, I just pointed it could be a sensor in the bumper...

Just had a phone call from Lexus (Bolton) and they have clarified that the problem is the level sensor situated on the rear axle on the left. It has borke and they have replaced it with a new one. I would also like to note that the problem was fixed for free even thought the car is out of the Warrenty Stage.

So the problem has been resolved and Thanks to Lexus Bolton for their excellent service.
