Urgent Help Needed!

Hey all,

Have the MK2 GS300, and has been running fine until a little accident recently in which the N/S/R tyre was ripped off the rim in a crash.

Now every now and again driving along, any road, any revs any gear, the Engine Management Light, and both VSC lights come on, the engine goes into some sort of 'safe mode' and lets me poodle home at about 2000rpm, no more.

Anyone have any ideas what could be the problem?

Other thing is, it has developed a low idle over the past week, and turning the wheel on a full lock, causes the revs to really drop and the car stalls.

I really need help on this one guys as I can be without a car!

Jim

you need the diagnostic codes read at lexus.

it could be throttle position sensor or O2 sensors, but again you need codes to confirm the actual cause.

good luck!

oh since your tyre got ripped off the rim, have you had the abs sensor checked to make sure it wasn't damaged on that side?
