Newbie With A Question

hi all , can u help me with a problem, i have a lexus gs300 sport mk1 and the exhaust has gone, ( where it splits into two ). i went to an exhaust centre and was quoted £465 plus v.a.t. which i thought was a lot, so i was wondering if the exhaust was the same as a soarer 2.5 turbo, i have the chance of getting it and was wondering if anyone knew if it would fit on my car ? . the model of the soarer is jzz30 its a twin turbo, the only reason im asking is that i have seen a picture of the exhaust and it looks the same, but i dont want to buy it and get home and find it wont fit, i would be very grateful for any advice given, many thanks in advance........andy

please has anyone any info on this as i am desperate to get my gs300 sport back on the road, i have a chance to buy the soarer exhaust on eBay and the listing end tomorrow, or ( a long shot i know ) is anyone breaking a mk1 gs300 i could buy the exhaust off, any help would be really appreciated

Sorry mate, can't help but if the soarer gear is cheap enough I would just buy it and see. if it is a no goer, then bung them back on eBay again.

I agree with TigerFish. You may lose a little in the transaction, but it's a gamble worth taking IMO.
