Just found out (but i may be wrong..hence why i have posted so i could be corrected if i have made a mistake..). You know when you leave your car and it auto locks itself within a few minutes, it doesn't do it when it's in gear. I found this out when i was cleaning my car and i have a habit of only pulling the handbrake by two clicks and if the rolls, i stick it in first so it stops it from rolling backwards. After getting out of car and carried on waxing the rest of the car and I'm sure i didn't hear the auto lock come on as i opened the door after a good 10-15 minutes. But then, i did also have all four windows ajar as i was cleaning them. Can anyone else clearify this?

I thought the auto lock only worked if you unlock the doors, and dont open them. After 30 secs it auto locks.
