Hi guys

I'm going to install my iPod into the cup holder beside the handbrake at the weekend, and just wondered how to remove the centre console so I can get the iPod wire from my head unit to come out in the cup holder.

Until now its been living out of site in the slide out tray where the tracion control/snow buttons are!!

Any help would be much appreciated.

To remove the centre console, you just pull on the gear surround to lift that up,

Then for the actual console, theres two screws under the carpent in the rear cubby hole, two at the side by the fronts seats, and two underneath the stereo. Oh and the Handbrake surround just unclips upwards.

Thanks Wozza. This WILL be done at the weekend lol. Going to get a small peice of wood and shape it to the same shape as the cup holder, then drill a hole and groove for my iPod wire and my iPod, and it should be nice and snug, and not rattle about!! Don't like rattles
