Recommended Posts

hi guys

i got a mk2 gs300 on a s plate thats at about 91000 miles.over the last 2 weeks when i brake the handbrake light comes and goes away, but not always.seems to happen more when its cold.im guna get into the garage to get rear brakes checked out in case there siezed up but i dont get squealing or anything so was wondering if anybody has had this on their car and what else it might be before i start spending £££'s on gettin everything looked at.also has anybody had any experience with the eBay traders selling oil,air and fuel filter kits on eBay for about £25.im guna buy one for my lex and freshen it up so was wonderin if there is anything i should beware of.

cheers dudes

Was the handbrake light coming on while you were doing the check? Just incase a bulb is on the way out but but was actually working on this occassion. Is the brake fluid level ok?

ill get the brake fluid level checked out in da morning, only thing is the light comes only when im driving,so i checked the bulbs while the car was parked.lol.think i was more worried in case it was something major.

i would of thought it was to check brake fluid level... the mk2 has a rear bulb out warning light (although its abit poop as it will only work if both filaments are blown)
