Car goes in this Friday for the IPOD kit. It appears that Lexus have rebadged the VAISTECH system and it is now an official dealer fit accessory. £300 supplied and fitted - IPOD sits in glovebox and all normal audio controls work.

Will report back on how good it is when done....

Well had the IPOD kit fitted by Bracknell and it's great. IPOD sits in glovebox. Start the car and IPOD shows Lexus logo then switch on stereo. IPOD shows as additional CD player. The system doesn't do track or artist but simply does playlists each of which shows up on the touch screen. You can flick through using on screen buttons or using the steering controls. when you switch off the IPOD goes to sleep.

Overall very pleased.
