Can Anybody Recomend A Car Cover For My Is

Recommended Posts

Hi there guys! Can anybody advise me on a good value car cover for outside use. I would need to collect from a high street store. I am going away for four days on Thursday and I am scared off coming back to find bird sh*t on my black paint job. Some of these birds have huge terds and they seems to be attracted to my black car for some reason. I have had to resort to carrying a emergency bird terd removal kit in my boot just in case. LOL :shifty:

Quite a few of the main stores sell them matey even Halfords do them if i remember but dont go for a plastic one as they stick to your paintwork so try and find a breathable polyester type if you can? there are quite a few on eBay at the moment and i think you'll need an XL or a large one to cover most of the is220/250 :D

I was looking to get one for mine to use on a regular basis. I'm just worried that putting it on when it's slightly dirty may scuff the paintwork as the wind moves it from side to side slightly.

You can pay up to £500 for car covers! But there are a lot cheaper versions out there. If it's just to keep bird $hit off.then try this one....

I agreed, don't buy the cheapo universal type one's....they are naff!!!

I bought one from eBay for my BMW 633csi Hallmark and it just broke up during the summer months.

Ending up buying one from a classic car show, that is lined, breathable and UV rated, that has been fantastic. Not cheap but it depends what you want from a cover ?

Got the Lexus one tailor made for the IS250...but I think they're made by Weathershield anyway.
