Care Of After-market Tints

I've had my front windows tinted 35% to (almost) match the rears. Given that this is a plastic(?) film applied to the inside of the window, rather than actual darkened glass, are there any special precautions you should take when cleaning the inside of the window?

I'm guessing that any kind of solvent (like Windolene) is out, in case it attacks the film!? So is it just water and a chamois ok? What do you folks do?

Yes thats right, just soapy water, window cleaner is really bad for them, i just use a damp cloth for my tints.

Holts do window wipes (£3 for 20 odd I think) which are superb and don't harm tints.... you can get the from your local Halfords....... :)
