Pi Springs

Hi peeps,

Going to purchase a set of lowering springs for my is200se. Quite a few selection out there, and im going to for cheap route, just the springs, pound for mm, PI springs seems to be the best bet, as they can lower the car by -35mm at a relatively decent price. I will keep existing shocks (is -35mm too much for them or should i only go for -30mm max?). Anyone got them and had any problems? I'm still using basic lexus 17" 5 spoked alloy and i will probably get WIM to install them, but what im thinking is, do i get them installed locally (bare in mind i live like 150 miles away from WIM, and my car has already had the wim treatment) let the springs bed in (say 500 miles?), then take it to wim to re-do tracking, or just goto wim and do both the spring install and tracking? Im hoping that if i do get the springs installed locally, it's not going to off put the tracking by too much.

Cheers!

Tony - got the reply cheers, only problem i have is when i can get some free time, i work 6 days a week..only day i get off is Sunday. Im off work for a week this week, but don't think the coils will be here any time soon.

MacRS200 - Cheers for the feedback, whenever i get something i like to know what is avaliable, but usually i go for the mid area, so not the extreme end of things, nor the cheaper, may be more hassle than it's worth stuff and the PI springs seem like a good price which is in that sort of area, the only others ones i looked at would have been eibatch, but they only go as low as -30mm and cost a little bit more than PI coil springs. Just read up on their website, they also recommend "PI Clip-on Universal Bump stops", have you got these installed as well as the coil springs? Might be something i will get as well.

Don't have the PI bump stops fitted, just the coils.

Have had the car heavily loaded a few times going on holiday etc with the rears "tucked" in the arches and I didn't have any "bottoming".
