Windscreen Washer Jets Blocked On My Ls430

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

Hope you are all well. Can any one tell me how to unblock the windscreen washer jets on the bonnet of my LS430 2001? Each washer has 2 mini jets - however one of the mini jets on each side looks blocked. Just wandering if anyone can help?

By the way, Ive only had my (first) LS430 for the last 3 weeks and it has been an absolute pleasure, especially for the price I paid for it! I got it really cheap - well looked after FLSH, one (chairman) owner who spent whatever it needed all at Lexus Swindon. Very genuine car. Its done 160k (ie Swindon to Hull once a week for last 7 years) but you would not know! Everything works perfectly (apart from the wash jets!!!). I want to tell you all how much I paid for it but Im scared that you may not reply back!! :-)

Also - how do you put photos here of our beloved??

Try pushing a fine sewing needle down them. It should clear any blockages.

For pics go to My controls at the top of the new posts page, and then click left column "your Albums" and it will explain how to upload your pics

Yeah try that, and then clean around the nozzle hole with an old tooth brush (wet the bristles slightly). You might want to mask around the nozzle to prevent grazing it and the bonnet... :winky:
