Wirring Diagram For Amp Bypass Cable Is200

Recommended Posts

i was thinking of 100 w RMS.

Does any one know of a "good" way of feeding the cable into the new doors ?

Per channel? If you think you are going to use anywhere near that then replace the cable. In reality, you probably won't reach 10A per channel, so no - you can use the existing cable. The more current the cable can handle though, the better.

It also depends on the efficiency of your speakers. What are they rated at? (SPL not power). 20w can be louder and clearer than 100w with decent, more efficient speakers.

Its not too bad running the cable into the doors really. I think I did a tutorial a while ago. I'll dig it out.

Cable taped to an old wire coat hanger does the trick, just bend the end over onto itself so I has no sharp point on the end.

If you don't bend the end over, the coat hanger could snag or tear the rubber cable shroud between the door & car.

When running the wire go from the door to the car, I have found it easier that way for some reason.
