Gs300se Series 2 Starter Motor

Hi Guys

My starter motor appears to be developing a flat spot on the comm. Will a starter motor off a series 1 fit?. My car is a 1999 not sure what the series 1 is but I could probably find out.

It depends, when you say series one do you mean the first series of the MRK 2's? or do you mean the MRK 1 1993 - 1998 GS300 as there was a facelift in 2001 on the MRK 2.

If the starter motor you are talking comes off a MRK 1 1993 - 1998 then it will not fit a MRK 2.
