tango, have you got any update for us on the performance of the ceramiclear paint on your bumper?

The weather hasn't been too brilliant (understatement  ) so haven't given it a decent wash and polish lately, but on the occasions I have washed the crap off the car the front bumper and spoiler look to be standing up to the grit pretty well. I'll have a better idea once the weather improves and I can take a few pics.

this winter should be a very good test for the chip resistance of the ceramiclear with the large quantities of grit that has been spread on the roads,i haven't washed mine for six weeks.btw, was your car affected by the steering recall and if so did lexus pay?

Had everything else but the steering recall. Can only presume mine wasn't in the batch of VIN numbers effected. Is this a recall or a TSIB fix (read replacement) if a customer complains? Haven't had any problems with the steering.

The Ceramiclear had a good test the other day as I came up behind a gritter truck on the M4. He was sat in the central lane so had no option but to pass through a cloud of salt and grit at about 50 mph or more.
