Giant Spiders Invade Australian Town

Recommended Posts

I would litterally cack my pants if I saw one of those, and I was brought up in Australia. We sometimes used to get Huntsmen spiders which looked like big Tarantula's but were compleatly harmless. I remember my Mum trying to get one out our lounge room with a broom and watching in terror as this spider was attacking the brush. I also remember squashing red back spiders with shoes when I was about six or seven. Now, I would squeel like a girl guide in a Stephen King horror film if I came across one.

Mum hated spiders lol. All my Dad's family are out there and all my Mum's family are in the UK. Not everyone got along so they decided to come back. I was 13 at the time so didn't have any say in it.

If we had spiders like that over here I would need to arm myself with a gun. There is no way I would ever get near enough to stamp on it (just imagine the crunch if you did - lol). The gun would also be of the machine variety.
