Yep not a bad review at all, pretty much sums up what the car's about. But 9.5s to 60 - they really need to give us another engine as that kind of pace in a convertible just isn't good..........

What a beauty! That is on Lexus I would come back for!

But. £36000? Ouch. If I had £36000, the choice would be hard. BMW325i Convertible or Lexus IS? It would be a nice problem to have.

An extended version of the review has now appeared in this week's printed issue of AutoCar. This states the 250C will go on sale in June and that the 3.5 litre engine may be introduced into the UK market.

The review is generally very positive including such statements as "well executed", "polished in the way that it rides, steers, cruises and brakes", "one of the most refined easy-revving engines you'll find anywhere", "feels like a quality piece of kit" and that it cuts a dash especially with the top down.

I'm really hoping it does - I always thought it was something that was a matter of time more than anything else, but for the convertible the performance of the 250 is just not good enough.

now if they brought out a IS350C S/C or maybe even an ISFC that would be deffo worth a look :D

but the IS250C is just warm, not hot IMO.

Lol, I hope they don't call it an IS-FC.........that sounds like a football club or a rival to KFC........

But definitely a 350C would get me very interested indeed.........should be somewhere round 6secs to 60? That should be adequate enough for London roads :winky:

Just seen some photos of the 250C and read the review. I think it looks superb and will sell very well mainly because, looks wise, it blows BMW, Audi. Merc out of the water. The reviews talk about its dynamic shortcommings but I don't believe, in that convertible sector, it will matter one jot.
