How Do I Remover Wing Mirror Glass

I have a 1995 MK-III car and the drivers wing mirror has had a wrong sized replacement glass stuck onto it.

How do I remove the galess from inside the wing mirror housing? Thanks in advance.

Slightly off thread, but I was talking to my local friendly motor factors during the week and they told me that they actually supply replacement glasses - which they will cut down to size for the LS400. A cheaper option.
