Broken Car Ariel

hello - Guys -

steped outside on Saturdays and found my car ariel missing and the base been broken so the screw end no longer attached to the base - :tsktsk:

all i said was chill out - its not that bad - could of been a lot more!!!

now looking for my options - shark fin - new base - etc -

what do you think of this ? SHARK

Firstly, this should be in the IS200 section not club meets.

secondly i'd say stick with the standard aerial mate, get a new one from a scrap yard or from a dealer, thats my opinion.

I broke mine recently, and I'm pretty sure it was more that £25 new for the whole thing from Lexus. Hopefully Stav is right, but when I was looking for mine I'm sure I found a post saying it was £100 plus, see below

I got a replacement from the States, see eBay # 300312019524

Just checked for you, they have another two up for "buy it now" or offer

See # 360159949048. I got mine for $65, plus $23 for postage, but I reckon a lower offer might win it too.

One of my son's neighbours has a shark fin aerial on his four tone Honda Civic, want to join him in barry's motors?

The aerial might be £25 but the base is a lot more if thats what you have to replace. If you buy from Lexus they wont sell just the plastic base but the whole aerial including the cables etc (you dont need to replace them) & that costs a lot more. Best advice is as Dajcksc says go to Ebaymotors.com & get the part from there, I did, perfect fit.
