Rear Brake Noise

right i just changed my rear discs and pads - all went fine and works no problem but theres a rubbin noisse from one side. it gets louder when turning 1 direction,

had it all off again and cleaned out but cant figure it out

any ideas

It's the dustguard at the rear of the hub. Just needs bending away from the disc.

as above but not always their is two parts to the dust cover(dust cover for the drum and a dust cover for the disk)you might find its the one for the drum(just take the disk off and you'll see were its rubbing and tap it back with a hammer)its harder to push back than the disk dust cover.

right i had the disc off again today and bent the guard back, cleaned all again and refitted. went for a run and its still makin a scrapin noise. it only does it when turning left.

gettin a tad annoyed now with it and i cant see whats causin it

remember though when you bend one bit the other bit will bend out so you need to put pressure on both sides,also did you check the plate the shoes are attached too??? look all round the plate the shoes are attached too as that will rub on the disks too.
