Well, we have been seeing concept designs, prototypes and then testing at the Nurburgring.

It has been nearly 5 whole years that we have been hearing rumours of a Lexus ‘Super Car’ to head up the ‘F’ division. Well I believe next month we will see the actual production version, followed by a sports version with a wider kit and some other extras, so there will be two versions of the car, road and the sports version available for the road based on the one that raced at the Nurburgring and Goodwood (the one with the Team Gazoo Racing livery).

Below is a link of what is the closest version to the actual road version that will be launched next month at the Frankfurt motor show, I can’t imagine it being much different than this, from all the road test that various journalists etc have done, everyone is very, very impressed with the LF A/LF L whatever they decide to call it, the handling, power everything, they say this is going to have the stiffest (in a good way) body due to the design and use of a certain composite material therefore the handling and cornering is “amazing” the closest to an F1 car ….they say?

I wanted to get your views on its looks, what do you all think, please vote after viewing the picture link below:

I do like it, but if i had the money to buy such a car, it wouldn't be this car. Based on looks alone i think Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston Martin offer better looking cars. Other than exclusivity i can't see why anyone would want to buy it, but hey, its only my opinion, what do i know? :D

Even if it does drive out if this world i still wouldn't buy one i don't think. I'm a massive fan of the prancing horse (although i despise there F1 team!), so if i had the cash my money would be heading there.

Fair point actually, I'd tend towards Ferraris too as I love them.........

But a £300k car is never going to be the only supercar someone like that owns, so they've probably already got a few Ferraris.....and with the limited run and potentially mindblowing handling it does look a car that would make a good investment as well as a fantastic drive.

I'd definately go for it over any ferrari/lambo, etc.

Body shape is perfect. I am a bit concerned about the headlights though... I really hope they are as the ones from the latest concept. However, they look a bit different on those latest "production" pics. But we'll see.

I'm not too keen on the matt black, a bit bored of it to be honest - might be partly because I see so many of them nowadays, but nothing beats a perfectly polished beautiful car :)

Only car that still looks good matt is the reventon.......
