Ebc...

I have had my EBC Grooved Discs and GreenStuff Pads in for a while now..

But recently i am getting noises from the front of the car both sides when braking, it's like the Pads are clicking in the grooves of the discs?

Can anyone shed any light on this.. (- i'm taking a guess on discs being warped a little, if so then i can get them swapped from where i bought them from..)

Mine do that under braking too - I can hear it when the front windows are open. I think it's pretty normal - i.e. when the grooves are passing the pads.

This is a different sound to the grooves passing the pads (normaly when driving), this is actualy only when i am braking - grudge, grudge click n clunk!!

I can only hear it with the windows open.

Sounds kinda cool.....bit like a turbo dump valve. :D

isn't there a springy piece of metal around the pads? Maybe its that. Reading said mine was making a noise, last time it was in, and are changing it next time I am in.

There is a springy thing there, but i have no idea if it's that, anyway, i have got the guy (where i got the discs from) to order another set of EBC discs as a replacement, so when i will be fittingthem, i'll check the springy thing and the pads..
