Is200.. Carbon Fibre Vinyl?

So... I've been gettin some dodgy ideas running through my head after checkin out all them pics of P.Lindolm and that Yemgi guys Lexys.

For those who haven't seen there cars, here are a coupla pics:

What i've got in mind is.. As i'm looking at a cheaper way to get my car looking that good (I'm on a tight budget).. I really don't wanna spend all that £££ on carbon fibre body parts. So I was thinking how about Carbon Fibre Vinyl Sheets??... What do you all think? Would it make the Lexy look too cheap? (Do I disserve to be shot for this suggestion? :shutit: lol)

I'm sure that the end product would look just as good.. Vinyl sheets would cost around £60? maybe less... and to get it put on professionally about £120? so that's £180 total?

I want to get the vinyl placed on the front hood, top of the car, bootlid, middle of front lip spoiler, middle of rear lip spoiler and mirror caps.

Anyhow i'm just being curious, so all your replies are welcome, just don't go too hard on me lol.

ive been thinking of some car wrapping myself lately but decided not to do carbon,

to me its no different to using brake caliper covers. its fake carbon.

Not really sure mate,

possibly similar to yourself, maybe roof, and mirror covers, including tinting the sunroof.

but not sure what colour/design. my mates doing a load of photoshops to help decide

its going to cost a lot more than £120 for (front hood, top of the car, bootlid, middle of front lip spoiler, middle of rear lip spoiler and mirror caps) in carbon fiber trust me im a sign maker & do vehicle livery, un less you use carbon printed Vinyl but it will still be more than £120 & looks s*it

I have seen people use vinyls on there car before and it has a horrible plastic look to it. Maybe there's better types of vinyl, but from what I have seen I would say its one to avoid.

i can get the textured carbon fiber in black or white i think cost to me was near enough £90 for 5 mtr @ 760mm wide might be del on top of that & double the price @1500mm wide minimum order is 5mtr for me that is

It's funny u should all be talking about this. I've recently had a sample of some very realistic carbon fibre film.

It's from the 3m range and it's from the di-noc series.

It's pretty expensive and the minimum order is 12 metres.

I've been trying to get a group of people wanting to order this and then Im going put the order in. I need to work out exact prices but who would be intrested having a few panels wrapped?

Do a search on eBay and u will see the prices of what they are trying to sell the film for. Im pretty sure il be able to beat there prices. But please keep in mind that the size I can get is 1220mm wide. Not the smallersizes they are offering for expensive prices.

I can either supply it on the roll or I can fit it. I've done vehicle wrapping for a few years. And most panels can be easily done.

Let me know If u peeps are intrested.
