Hi all,

well I felt I should probably introduce myself after registering an all that...

I'm Andy, 28 (although 29 is far too close for my liking!) and from just outside Newcastle-upon-Tyne. I've just bought my first Lexus, a 56-plate IS220d after trading in my modified 2004 Saab 9-3 Convertible (luckily a couple of days before the 'winding up' news broke!) I have however been told the Lexus is staying standard by my other half!

hi andy i am also from the north east, and i love my lexus despite reading all the comments about them being crap for want of a better word. how are you finding it..

Finding it absolutely fine, obviously been taking it careful on the non gritted roads etc but found it fine for everyday motoring...

It's a standard Astral Black IS220d, I'm sure there's nothing special in that! lol

come across your post mate and glad to see a fellow member close by, i am in north shields myself with a X reg green IS200 (only had it a couple of days), keep an eye out for a friendly flash!
