Is200 Alarm Not Working - Help

Hello,

My friends got an is200 and the alarm will not work at all. Locked the car jumped around inside it, opened the door and everything but still the alarm wont go on - no sound and no flashing lights/hazzards.

Any one seem this before or have any idea on what he can try/check to get it working again?

Seperate Battery? Cable connection? fuse?

hi have you tried opening the bonnet(by pulling the release button inside the car)then leaving the car till the immobiliser light (the red/orange flashing light)in your instrument cluster starts flashing and then try and open the bonnet - the alarm should go off if it doesnt then you have got an alarm problem,hope this helps.

Hiya mate,

use the remote to lock/arm the car and wait for 90 seconds for the alarm to set, then you can try things like: using the key to open the door or open the bonnet.

if nothing happens, you got a problem with the alarm system.
