Evening all.

When I park up my 06 RX400h I often hear a loud clicking noise coming from the engine bay. Sounds like a relay chattering, starts about 30 seconds after I lock the car and lasts for only a few seconds.

I have not yet had the chance to narrow down the source. Anyone else heard this?

I had the same noise on my 400 - just assumed it was a quirk of the vehicle. Now drive a 450RX and it is exactly the same.

Mine is the same, it makes some weird and wonderfull noises after key has been turned off.

I believe in the hand book it says that these noises are perfectly normal.

Thanks for your comments. Looks like I have nothing to worry about though I suspected as much. Does make some strange noises though especially noticable if you stick your head under the bonnet.
