Another Recall On The Way For 2005-2006 Is250

hi guys! theres another recall for is250, this time its for the brake master cylinder. if you go onto lexus uk web site, http://www.lexus.co.uk/about/news-and-events/2010/brake-master-cylinder-and-fuel-pump-recall.aspx type in your vin number to check if your car is needed for recall.

No, not the IS250, only the 1st gen IS (200/300) registered from 02/2003 to 11/2005.

my is250se was regestered on 24th December 2005 and is on the list for recall!

No, not the IS250, only the 1st gen IS (200/300) registered from 02/2003 to 11/2005.

Mt IS250 is on the list. I believe its all IS manufactured between 02/2003 and 11/2005 rather than registered between those dates.. A colleague who as 06 Reg is also in the list.

Lexus will use the VOSA's database to contact the owners whose cars needs this recall...

Well, the article on the pressroom says

"Owners of the involved vehicles will be notified by first class mail beginning in early November 2010. Toyota and Lexus dealers will replace the brake master cylinder cup with a newly designed one at no charge to the vehicle owners."
