Depends entirely on the insurance company some like Flux only charge for HP increasing whereas direct line charge over the odds if you so much as put a sticker on the car!

Im with Flux and i checked out a quote for uprated brake discs and the difference was near £800 extra over the year, so they are as bad as many others!

Try Sky insurance. I recently changed over to them as I put TEIN coilovers on my IS200. Directline refused to cover me as I haven't held my licence for 5+ years. It doesn't matter to them that I'm 28 and have 2 kids!!! B)

I got some BC coilovers put on my IS200 this week by Sumo Power, and they did a great job, the only problem I had with the whole affair was insurance. I was with admiral, and when I told them i was thinking of it and wanted a quote they said they would no longer insure me. I looked around and Adrian Flux did me a brilliant deal, and only put my insurance up by £50 with my coilovers stated on the insurance.
