Hi there,

I'll start by saying that unfortunately, it's very difficult to diagnose engine faults over the internet.

What you've described there could be any number of things, slipping clutch; wrong, damaged or incorrect spark plugs; throttle body sensors, or even a ridiculously slack throttle cable.

Is there any other information you could give us?

by the sounds of things your engine could be running fine these cars have a sort of power band high up the rev range its the vvti working....

but one thing you can do is reset the ecu and let it learn the way you drive...

hope that helps....

Dead easy dude. Either disconnect the Battery for a few minutes, but you'll lose all presets on radio and the clock etc. Or open up the fuse box in the engine bay in front of the Battery and remove the ETCS and ECU fuses for a few minutes. There's a legend in the fusebox so you know what you're pulling.
