Is220D Problems (Low Mpg, Part Failure Etc)

Hi All

I wanted to start this thred as i have had many many problems with my is220d sport. lexus insist that the car is sound and "no one has issues" something i cannot beleve. if you have had problems with your car can you post a breife run down in this section as i will use it as evidance that other drivers are having problems especialy if we are having the same ones.

My problems have been

Full engine rebuild/decoke @ 54,000

Second engine rebuild (balancing rods, oil pump) sounded like a massy Ferguson

Gear box rebuild/work x 4 (odd noise under power, ticking when at idle)

Rocking feeling when holding speed on slight down hill (power loss)

New rear door locking mechanism

Rear ECU

very bad mpg 35 junction to junciton on the m1

thease are just the main things
