Test Drive

Hi,

I have been looking at Lexus cars at the moment - very nice - but some posters have mentioned about a weekend test drive etc.

How did you get one of these. To me this is one of the biggest problems with buying a car - a 20 minute test drive is never enough!

I am 28 years old so don't know if my age would be against me or not. My dealer seemed a bit reluctant.

Hello, the fact that a weekend test drive was offered to me when looking at the IS250 really helped me and pursuaded me away from the manual to the auto. We're talking Fri through Mon too for both a manual and an auto.

If you're serious about buying and they want to sell then it's something that should happen...if not walk away and use another dealer. If it helps I found Reading to be most accomodating.
