hi. im painting my brake calipers red at da moment, taking a break right now.

the 1st layer seems to be quite thin, is this normal? i heard some people having to paint 3 layers.

i followed the instructions came with it, did everything accordingly i.e add hardener & waited 5 mins & shake/stirr it etc...

did any of you people experience this?

thanks in advance

J.

I just used Hammerite smooth...

Simple Steps...

1) open Can

2) Dip Brush

3) Apply first Coat

4) Wait 5 mins to dry

5) Apply another coat

6) follow step 4& 5 till happy with finish....

The first coat did seem very light so I wouldn't worry to much about thast at all..

cheers guys for advice, just that i never done this before & not sure if i misread instructions or should there be undercoat before painting it red.

i not officially owned a car after i passed driving test so technically IS200 S is my 1st car, i only used parents cars & then a company car since passing driving test.
