Well what can I say.

Was tempted, and subsequently paid for two years membership (thanks pay pal).

For me, it was not the savings offered, but perhaps just to support a well run and informative club I respect.

If you are a member, what was your reason?

Simple:

1. For the discount you get when servicing (pays immediately for the membership fee)

2. To support the club

Question I got more now is how to renew since I live in France and not anymore in the UK

I could offer you a solution!

We could of course swap, with you living in Northern Ireland, while I in France.

I would be more than willing to forgo my membership discounts if you would be agreeable to a move :-)

Just had a look at the weather-forecast and temperatures in Northern Ireland and compared the colour of the sea with the one I see from the living room (and the bedroom, and the office :D ) ...

Considering it was 18°C here, I think I'll pay pay full price for my servicing and stick up with the French anyway, but thanks for the offer !

Well, never let it be said I didn't try to assist.

After all, I would hate to think you were disadvantaged by that annoying sun that gets into your eyes while driving, and that persistent heat during the summer!

Must be some reason why I live here .............. give me a minute, I'm still thinking!

Also don't forget going GOLD allows you to offer the odd item for sale so if you happen to have a spare LS600H knocking around you don't use any more it gives you the chance to get rid of it to another club member.

Bad reason - maybe It's better not being gold and having to hold on to the LS600H.

Did I not tell you I love cars!
