I am considering a LPG conversion for my 04 LS 430. Is there one make more suitable than any other. I have been offered two kits from different suppliers, AG Centrum and Diageo. Has anyone here any info on these. Thanks.

Are you thinking about fitting it yourself? If not I would recommend Profess Autogas in Cardiff. They did my LS430 when I bought her and I have nothing but praise for them. Spot on job and completed in a day.

Had two done by Profess now LS 400 & Mercedes E220 and both have been completely trouble free both done in a day, they lent me a car so had a nice day out in Wales at the same time.

Thanks for all replies. I would not do the conversion myself. There are a few companies doing these conversions in Ireland, all with different units. I am trying to find out the most suitable for the LS430. Another make I found is made by Emer. Any info on these three makes would be helpful. Thanks

I was looking into LPG once, most of the LPG stuff is Italian for some reason.

There are some good dedicated LPG websites if you want to research further, if you are using an approved installer ask for references from previous customers as we have had members with no problems with LPG and then some have had problems with engine management lights coming on.

The system will have to be a multipoint for yours then there is the tank choice either torroidal or cylinder.

Although based in England there is a company called Tinley Tech where you will find lots of info which may help you decide which system to fit.
