First And Second Press Unlocking

Is it possible to have the first press on the remote to open the driver's door only and the second press to open the other doors on a 58 registered RX 400h. At the moment one press opens all doors.

Most of the newer Lexus models have dealer programable options one of which may be what you need.

Giving your local dealer a call may be your best bet.

Just had another look and it would appear that the option is available.

I. Power Door Lock System

1. Unlock on key twice: (on)/off (1st Press opens driver's door only 2nd opens all doors)

2. Unlock on shift to P-position: on/(off)

3. Autolock once: on/(off)

Ask the dealer to do it for you on your next service, that way they do not generally charge for it.
