Hello!

I have recently traded in my 2008 Renault Clio 197 Cup for a 2007 Lexus IS 220d. First off, I must say it's like moving from a Council House to Buckingham Palace! lol

The Clio was one hell of a car but due to other commitments, and the fact you only had to put the key near the ignition and it would use half a tank of fuel, it's had to go for something a bit more grown up and practical.

I'm chuffed to bits so far with lexus and its already returning good mpg. I regularly travel between Derby and Sheffield and do alot of pottering about town and i'm averaging a good steady 40 mpg.

Every car has it's niggles and problems and in past experience owners clubs are worth their weight in gold for information.

Thanks in advance for any help and advice! :-)
