has any one found a way around the buffeting over 60 mph in the sc ,does the shutting of the rear windows help ?

i have tried a larger clear wind deflector and even a custom board across the back seats but it is still to windy in the cab :(

Can't say I notice any particular buffeting. In my opinion the SC is one of the quietest convertibles. I am only 5' 8" though so maybe a taller driver would notice it more.

Drove home with the 'Boss' yesterday.

She put her window up, got comfortable in the sun and slept the 30 miles home.

Provided the windows are up with the top down, it is a quiet journey at motorway speeds, even if you are over 6 feet.

Personally, I prefer the look of the car with the windows down, but this only happens when the passenger seat in unoccupied, as it does get windy this way.

That's motorway driving in a convertible for you!

I'm 6,2. so have to have the seat as far back as it will go.

Can't say i have any problems with buffeting with the roof down at all (Even at excessive speeds!)

You do get more road noise due to the fact theres no roof to hide under. But theres little to no buffeting IMO ... Compared to some convertibles I've been in its like having the roof still up!

I have never noticed it either, but there is a company that make a wind deflector for it.

I can probably find the name out but it looked like a real effort to get it installed, side panels to be removed and drilled etc.
