Rev Gauge Not Moving

Hey guys my rev counter has stopped working and inturn dash lights on recently had misfire on 2 cylinders and changed coilpacks and solved it but when diagnoised it also came up with faulty speed sensor could thos be reason for rev counter not moving ?

but was it the code an intermittent or no signal?

Intermittent means the cabling to it or the sensor is faulty caused by either dirt or chaffing in the wires.

No signal means the sensor is broken and needs replacing.
