Hi all,

Picked up my car yesterday lunch time and drove it about 500 miles straight away from Glasgow to Chippenham. The car drives straight, but the steering wheel feels like it might be 1 or 2 degrees off center to the left. Is this something that a few people notice with theirs?

I am going to put it into the garage to get a laser alignment doing. Is it worth me speaking to Lexus garage first?

Other than that - very happy with the car! Shame it wont play videos on the nav screen though. From the manuals on the USA site, it seemed that it might. Oh well.

Cant say that I have had this problem on either of our IS250's. I would see what Lexus say as you have only just picked up the car. Failing that Wheels In Motion (WIM) appear to be the expert on alignment for Lexus and although they are not near you, it sounds like it is worth the drive if Lexus cant do anything.

The Multimedia system which was stopped from the MY2011 models for some stupid reason could play videos

Hi. When I bought my IS the steering was the same as yours . The lex dealer straightend slightly but it was still off a little. Time passed and i left it ... dont do this have gone through multiple sets of tyres (6 in two years!). All because the 4 wheel alignment was way out. Had it done early this year and seems fine now. although had to buy another rear tyre (7) after a puncture! A costly nightmare...

If the steering wheel is off centre get the alignment checked. You don't want to waste good tyres.
